MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - A Minot business owner and Minot State alum competed in a national CrossFit competition last week.

Bryce Broome recently competed in the national CrossFit Games in Albany, New York.

His team includes others from around the country and is considered one of the top 20 teams in the world.

Broome said CrossFit came into his life in 2019. It’s evolved into his business, Souris Valley CrossFit, and so much more.

He shared that he fell in love with the sense of community it provided, and his experience in college athletics helped him fit in with the sport.

“All four of us are just so close together, we are all rookies, it was our first year doing it, and we are just so proud of each other and the camaraderie we had,” said Broome.
