COLLEGE PARK —At the request of the College Park Police Department, the GBI is investigating an officer-involved shooting in College Park where a Jonesboro man was shot.

According to a Wednesday GBI press release, Dwight Jaheem Robinson-Fikes, 31, of Jonesboro, was injured with no officers being injured during the incident.

Preliminary information from the GBI indicated that on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at about 7:10 p.m., College Park officers responded to a call regarding a person being shot at an apartment building near West Fayetteville Road.

An officer traveling along Norman Drive saw Robinson walking away from the direction of the shooting incident.
