The El Paso County Coroner's Office identified a woman found dead Friday in the 6400 block of Austin Bluffs Parkway as Cheryl Bennett, 56.

The Colorado Springs Police Department said Bennett was reported missing July 28 after she walked away from her residence and had not been heard from.

The Corner's Office has yet to determine Bennett's cause and manner of death and an investigation is ongoing, according to CSPD.
