HENDERSON, Texas (KETK)--- Full Armor Christian Academy, a small private school in Henderson, started school today. Founded in the mid-90s, the academy is celebrating 31 years of education, with an average class size of ten students. Last year's graduating class was only two students.
Mika Jackson, who has served as the head of Full Armor for the past three years, said the school is focused on 'educating their students on biblical truth', using sports and extracurriculars as the avenue for their message.
The biggest buzz around the campus this year is the new basketball courts! Sixth grader Kyler Sharp shares that he is excited for the new basketball courts on campus because he plans to try out for the team this season.
