TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - It may be summertime, but Old Tucson is already releasing its plans for Nightfall.

Old Tucson will be celebrating its 33rd year of hosting the Tucson tradition.

And it is doing that with lots of new haunted houses, mazes, and a brand-new star — Dabney the Clown, who insists that fear is fun.

Nightfall will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. every Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 2 through Nov. 1.

Old Tucson General Manager Tony Sanders said he’s most looking forward to Dabney as the “icon of evil.”

“I think he’s going to transform Nightfall into something it’s just not been,” Sanders said.

And Dabney seems more than ready to take on the role.

“It’s about time they put me on the pedestal I should be placed on, which is at the top,” Dabney said.
