PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Law enforcement officials in Vancouver are currently trying to locate a suspect who hit multiple cars in a crash that left several people injured, authorities said.

The crash happened on Wednesday evening near Mill Plain Boulevard, which is now closed in both directions, near 160th Avenue, Vancouver police said.

"The suspect driver ran a red light and hit multiple vehicles and several people were injured from minor to serious," said Kim Kapp, a City of Vancouver spokesperson.
