LONGVIEW, Wash. — A suspect accused of stabbing two people, killing one, at a home in Longview on Tuesday is still at large, police said.
Around noon on Tuesday, police responded to Terumi Lane and found two adults inside a house. Both had been stabbed. One person, identified as 64-year-old Dawn Peters, was dead at the scene, and the other person, 73-year-old Andrew Peters, had critical injuries and was airlifted to a hospital via LifeFlight. Andrew Peters is now in more stable condition and recovering.
The two victims were in-laws, police said, and the suspect, identified as 51-year-old Alexander Lee Rogers, knew them. Witnesses said Rogers drove away from the scene before police arrived.
Police said Rogers is armed and dangerous, and if seen, to call 911 immediately.
