MEXICO, Mo. (WGEM) - Happening Sept. 10, the Northeast and Central Missouri Earthquake Summit will be held in Mexico, Missouri.
It will take place at the St. John’s Lutheran Church Family Life Center from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It’s not open to the public, but rather first responders, emergency management directors, emergency planners, and government officials.
While the public will be impacted by the effects of an earthquake, these officials are the people in charge when it comes to dealing with the after effects of a natural disaster.
