Continuing expenses related to the October 2024 flood disaster, next month’s National Championship Air Races are among agenda items the city’s Finance Committee will take up when its members meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at City Hall, 425 N. Richardson Ave.
Many of the items for which committee members are being asked to make recommendations will be part of a budget adjustment for the current 2025-26 fiscal year. The committee will also decide whether to recommend this adjustment.
One of the most expensive items is to replace a flood-damaged, 36-inch water transmission line that runs under North Montana Avenue from West 8th to 17th streets.
