Good morning! The axis of energy responsible for yesterday’s showers will move farther over the Carolinas today. High pressure to our northeast continues to wedge cooler air into the Midlands. This will give us additional cloud cover throughout the day.

Peeks of sunshine will be hard to come by, which means highs will struggle to reach the upper-70s, with a few of us briefly hovering around 80 degrees. A couple of rain showers can’t be ruled out, but more of us stay
