NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WFSB) - A Naugatuck woman was arrested on on Tuesday, July 29, for allegedly assaulting and threatening her daughter.

Police were called to a residence for reports of a physical domestic dispute.

When they arrived, they found that 41-year-old Saliena Sepulveda has been involved in a heated argument with her daughter while intoxicated.

Investigators said the argument turned physical and Sepulveda allegedly kicked her daughter several times.

Police also said that Sepulveda threatened to stab her daughter with a knife during the altercation.

Sepulveda was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, second- degree threatening, and disorderly conduct.

She was released on a $10,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on July 29.
