GLENWOOD, Iowa (WOWT) - Two people are dead and another person is in critical condition after a shooting in a Glenwood neighborhood.
Authorities are calling this an isolated incident, with no further threat to the community.
“There was some type of explosion in the house before the fire started,” Glenwood Police Chief Eric Johansen told reporters in an update late Wednesday night.
Police and Mills County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident, which was dispatched as an “active shooter situation.”
One person is in custody as a “person of interest,” he said.
