PORTSMOUTH — Just a walk away from where Church Community Housing (CCH) is building a new senior housing complex on Bristol Ferry Road, the nonprofit has proposed a new low- to moderate-income housing development with about 40 residential units.

Two separate concept plans, presented to the town’s Technical Review Committee Tuesday afternoon, call for the units to be built on two lots located on the east side of Bristol Ferry Road and Turnpike Avenue, on either side of Sprague Street. Both lots are zoned residential, R-20.
