A Broadstairs drugs bust has ended in the capture of a man running a cannabis farm. Giedrius Sadeckas was arrested after Kent Police officers discovered a large cannabis cultivation inside his house.

The 47-year-old man was caught at the scene and later charged with being concerned in the production of a controlled drug. In the early hours of Sunday, March 6, 2022 , officers executed a warrant for a property on Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs, after they received intelligence that linked the house to drug supply.

Upon searching the address, officers located a substantial cultivation in the upstairs bedroom. A total of 33 cannabis plants were seized from the house.

Sadeckas pleaded guilty prior to his sentencing at Canterbury Crown Court and on Thursday, July 31, 2025, he was sentenced to 22
