HASTINGS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A 23-year-old woman has been arrested for vehicular manslaughter in the death of a 2-year-old boy in Oswego County.

Kali Seaman was arrested on Wednesday for Vehicular Manslaughter, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (Leandra’s Law), and Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. She was also issued several traffic tickets.

Seaman was the driver in the July 9 crash on State Route 49 in Hastings that resulted in the death of the two-year-old. Oswego County Sheriff's Office say Seaman had marijuana in her system. She was driving a 2011 Chrysler minivan when she lost control and drove north off the roadway. The minivan then overturned and hit a tree.
