NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A newly released incident report from the North Augusta Department of Public Safety is offering more insight on a missing woman who showed back up at her home.
The report was released Thursday, outlining a bizarre explanation of what happened to the woman whose disappearance after a traffic accident in June set off a massive search effort.
A witness says Rhodes’ vehicle ended up in a ditch after the accident, and she was seen getting out, looking disoriented and wandering into the woods.
She’d been missing since then until she mysteriously showed up at her home on Tuesday in Edgefield County, then suffered some type of medical episode and was sent to a hospital.
