MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — West Virginia University is beginning the academic year for new and returning students with a full slate of activities during Welcome Week. Running from Aug. 14 to 22, the goal is to help students connect, explore campus, and ease into the new academic year with energy and excitement.
The week begins with move-in days from Aug. 14-16, as first-year students arrive at residence halls. University Police and Housing and Residence Life staff will be on hand to assist with the transition.
The events kick off with Late Night at the Rec on Aug. 15 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center. The popular WVU Up All Night series also resumes that evening, beginning at 10 p.m. at the Mountainlair.
