HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. - A jury found a man guilty of murdering a 16-year-old honor roll student from Haywood County High School, according to District Attorney General Fredrick Agee.

Kevion Davis' trial lasted a week in the Circuit Court of Haywood County. The jury returned to find Davis guilty of second-degree murder in Christine Michael's death. The 16-year-old died in February 2023 when Davis chased down a car carrying Michael and three other teenagers following a basketball game at Ripley High School.
