REIDSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — A 21-year-old woman is being charged with voluntary manslaughter after being accused of stabbing and killing a woman on Tuesday, according to the Reidsville Police Department.
At around 5:37 p.m. on Tuesday, officers came to the 800 block of Summit Avenue in Reidsville after getting a report of a disturbance.
At the scene, police found Brianna Best Parker, 27, of Greensboro, unresponsive and suffering from stab wounds.
Rockingham County EMS came to the scene and took Parker to a local hospital, where she later died as a result of her injuries.
21-year-old Ana Tonche-Garza has been taken into custody and is being charged with voluntary manslaughter. She was given a $1 million secured bond and will appear in court on Aug. 20.
