HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Henderson Police Department officials say they are looking into an animal cruelty complaint.

According to a press release, officers were dispatched to the area of US Highway 60 and Pebble Creek Drive for an animal cruelty complaint.

Officials say the caller told police they saw someone throwing kittens out of a van.

When officers arrived on scene, they found two dead kittens. They say the suspect was not found.

They say potential witnesses would have been around Highway 60 and Pebble Creek to Barret Blvd between 9:25am and 9:35am.

The caller said the van was a gray or silver color.

Officials say the van was last seen traveling west on Highway 60 heading towards Barret Blvd.
