SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A Casey’s General Store that has been on Sioux City’s west side for years is closing for good.

The Casey’s at 1727 Casselman Street, right by Loess Hills Elementary and down the street from West High School, closes permanently on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025.

An employee at the Casey’s told KTIV that they were given the option to transfer to a different store if they wanted to.

“We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you at our other locations,” said a sign posted on one of the building’s windows.

KTIV has reached out to a Casey’s spokesperson for more information on the closure.
