HENDERSON, Ky. (WEVV) — Police are looking for an animal cruelty suspect in Henderson after someone called 911 to report kittens being thrown from a van.
On Wednesday morning, officers were dispatched to the area of Highway 60 and Pebble Creek Drive for the animal cruelty complaint.
The 911 caller said they saw someone throw kittens out of a van.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found two dead kittens, but no suspect.
HPD is investigating the incident as an animal cruelty case, and are looking for potential witnesses who would have been in the area around 9:25 a.m. - 9:35 a.m.
According to HPD, the 911 caller said the van was a gray or silver Honda Odyssey, in decent condition. The van was last seen heading west down Highway 60, towards Barret Boulevard.
