WARREN TWP., Ohio - A motorcyclist was injured Thursday morning during a traffic accident in Warren Township.

The crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV along Route 422 near Templeton Road NW just before 10 a.m.

The motorcycle was on its side along the highway. The SUV had minor damage to the driver’s side rear bumper.

The motorcyclist was taken to a Youngstown hospital for treatment of injuries, State Troopers say are not life-threatening. The driver of the SUV wasn’t hurt.

The patrol has not yet released more information about the identity of those involved.

One lane of Route 422 was shut down for about an hour in the area while the crash was being investigated.
