MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Hundreds gathered on Wednesday evening for Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s “Mother of All Town Halls.”
Two days after announcing her run for governor of South Carolina, Congresswoman Nancy Mace stopped in Myrtle Beach to host a town hall.
“You were my first town hall on the road to governor of South Carolina,” Mace said.
Supporters like Kelly Joe Smileys said they were excited to see her.
“I love Nancy Mace,” Smiley said. “I love the aggressive stance she has on pedophiles, on boys not being in girls’ bathrooms. So I have followed her for a while.”
Also attending the town hall were protestors, not as thrilled with the Goose Creek native’s track record.
