MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- School is officially in session at Collierville High School; however, they encountered a few obstacles when driving to the front entrance.

"Yea, it is a little inconvenient, but you know it's just a matter of planning," said a grandfather dropping off his grandson at school.

A portion of Shelby Drive between Collierville High and Highway 72 is closed until later this year while TDOT continues its road widening project.

Sycamore Road north of Shelby Drive is also closed until August 11th due to a separate project.
