LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Heavy equipment began to tear down the Central Services building on Michigan State's campus earlier this summer. The project began at the end of June and is expected to last through September.

The building was home to MSU's Transportation Services department, which is now located at University Services at 169 Service Road.

In December of 2024, MSU's Board of Trustees approved a three-phase plan for Spartan Stadium, home to Michigan State football. The plan includes $28 million in spending.

The plan includes the replacement of videoboards, renovating the West Tower, and modernizing the rest of the stadium.
