MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) is trying to locate a man recently indicted on allegations related to sexual assault.

In an announcement on Facebook posted on Tuesday, Aug. 5, the sheriff's office reported that Raymundo Pelayo, 40, of Mount Sterling, was at large.

Court records show he was indicted on July 25 on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy, both on someone considered incapable of consent and/or physically helpless.

The MCSO noted that Pelayo reportedly failed to report to court, and a second arrest warrant has been issued.

Law enforcement officials said he is believed to be around Boyle County.
