Another seasonable afternoon is ahead with temperatures peaking in the low 80s across the area.

Friday morning will start sunny with temperatures starting in the low 60s and rising to the mid 80s in the afternoon; expect a somewhat muggy day too, with a sunny to mostly sunny afternoon.

This weekend turns humid and hotter with high temperatures in the upper 80s on Saturday, rising to the low 90s on Sunday. Humidity levels will start to rise on Sunday and continue to rise into the first half of next week.

A third heat wave for the year is in sight, with three straight 90-degree days possible Sunday through Tuesday.

Showers will hold off on Monday, but will return to our forecast on Thursday through Thursday.
