Daylong celebration coming to downtown

One of the arts community’s biggest celebrations is returning to downtown Phoenix.

The 16th Annual Festival of the Arts at the Herberger Theater Center, at 222 E. Monroe St., will go from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.

The free celebration will feature two stages of live music, dance, and performances by Valley arts organizations. There will also be a hands-on, interactive Kids Zone, a vendor market, and live artist demonstrations. Look also for food trucks and a wine and beer garden.

The Herberger is looking for volunteers, food vendors, and vendors to participate. The deadline for food and vendors to apply is Thursday, Sept. 25, and the deadline for volunteer applications is Wednesday, Oct. 15.
