EUGENE, Ore. - A 56-year-old man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly sexually abusing a teenage victim over a period of several years, according to the Eugene Police Department.
According to Eugene Police, Cory Ellis Hatfield was taken into custody on August 6 after being linked to multiple sexual abuse charges. The investigation stemmed from a report by a teenage victim on July 4, alleging abuse over several years.
Hatfield was arrested on Briggs Hill Road after a coordinated effort by the Violent Crimes Unit, Special Investigations Unit, and Street Crimes Unit. He faces charges including four counts of third-degree rape, third-degree sex abuse, and three counts of third-degree sodomy.
