Multiple agencies are searching on land and sea for a woman whose belongings were found on Venice Beach Wednesday night.

Video recorded around midnight showed helicopters and boats searching the water off the coast, while responders were also seen driving trucks along the beach.

Officials have not identified the woman, but USCG Southern California stated in a post on X Thursday morning that she is believed to be in her 30s.

Her belongings were found in the vicinity of the Venice Beach Pier, according to freelance media firm KNN News. Lifeguards from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Los Angeles police officers were assisting in the search.

No further details regarding the circumstances of the disappearance were immediately available.
