LAKE FOREST, Illinois — Miami Dolphins players have been practicing against one another for more than two weeks. They finally get to hit someone else.

The Dolphins headed for the greater Chicago area Wednesday night after completing the day’s practice. They have one more intrasquad session at Halas Hall, the Chicago Bears’ practice facility, before facing the Bears for a Friday joint practice and Sunday preseason game at Soldier Field.

It’s the start of a week and a half for Miami in the Midwest. The team travels straight to Detroit after, where the Dolphins have two more joint sessions with the Lions and another preseason exhibition.
