RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A woman was arrested on DUI charges after police say she was driving intoxicated Wednesday night.

On the night of Aug. 6, deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash at the intersection of Foothill Road and Broili Drive in Reno. Police found that the pedestrian was the driver of the car, who had fallen out of it while the car was in motion.

Police arrived at around 8:43 p.m. and found the woman sitting in the middle of the road being helped by bystanders. The woman told police she had run herself over. Police said she showed signs of significant alcohol impairment.
