CORVALLIS, Ore. - Benton County's Flexible Housing Subsidy Pool (FHSP) Program has successfully moved 54 households from homelessness into stable housing over the past year.
This effort has benefited 69 adults and 53 children, totaling 122 individuals, since the program began in July 2024. According to Benton County, the FHSP was funded through the state following Gov. Tina Kotek's 2023 emergency declaration on homelessness. The program exceeded its initial goal of achieving long-term housing stability for 51 households by June 30.
