MITCHELL — A search warrant executed at a Mitchell residence on Wednesday, August 6, led to the arrest of four individuals on various drug-related charges. The Lawrence County Police Department, with assistance from the Mitchell Police Department, conducted the raid at a home on West Main Street.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Officer Kenton Carter, officers served a search warrant authorized by Judge John Plummer III at approximately 10:39 p.m. While approaching the residence, officers encountered a man exiting the home, who was subsequently released without charges. Upon entry, officers located and detained three individuals inside the house.
