The Manitoba government is facing serious allegations from foster parents who say their emails are being blocked or ignored by Families Minister Nahanni Fontaine, raising questions about transparency and respect for frontline caregivers in the child welfare system.

Jamie Pfau, president of the Manitoba Foster Parent Association (MFPA), says the breakdown in communication between the minister and foster caregivers has reached a critical point — and appears to be politically motivated.
