Troopers Investigating Suspicious Death At Soldotna Home

Alaska State Troopers are investigating a suspicious death as well as “serious injuries” discovered during a welfare check at a Soldotna residence on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Department of Public Safety dispatch on the incident, Alaska State Troopers responded to the home at 3:49 p.m. on August 5 and found an adult male deceased inside, along with an adult female. AST stated that both the woman and the deceased man had “serious injuries” which are being investigated as suspicious in nature.

The woman, believed to be the caretaker for the deceased man, was transported to a Kenai Peninsula area hospital for treatment.
