The Martha’s Vineyard pierogi vendor that refused to sell to attorney Alan Dershowitz last week has received a swell of support — and still won’t let him have any dumplings.
Last week, Dershowitz took to social media to declare his plans to sue the West Tisbury Farmers Market after he got into a verbal altercation with the owners of Good Pierogi after they declined to sell a half-dozen pierogi to him. He called it “pure McCarthyism.”
He then tried again yesterday but left pierogiless. In a video shared by the Martha’s Vineyard Times , Dershowitz approaches the stand once again on Wednesday, then asks chef and co-owner Krem Miskevich to sell him pierogi to show that he won’t allow their “anti-Zionism to decide which people you’ll sell to.”
