SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls police department has informed Dakota News Now they’ve made an arrest in connection with a June 22 shooting.

Jabriel Fears, 35, was arrested on August 6 in connection with a shooting at 12th Street and Summit Avenue back in June.

Sioux Falls police were able to obtain security video showing two suspects in a shooting that led to a man being grazed in the back with a bullet.

Additional reports claim Fears was also shot and at the location of 918 W. 12th Street.

Witnesses claimed a male wearing all black and carrying a gun was seen going into 918 W. 12th Street after the shooting.

Fears states he was standing near 12th Street and Summit Avenue when he witnessed two men fire shots into a crowd of people.
