A passionate group of seasoned animal rescuers is starting a new chapter in feline welfare with the launch of Whisker Warriors, a grassroots initiative devoted to rescuing, fostering, and rehoming pregnant cats, abandoned strays, and vulnerable kittens across Manitoba.

The brainchild of Judy Shaw and three fellow animal advocates, Whisker Warriors is poised to become a fully registered charity within weeks. The team brings years of combined experience fostering cats through other organizations — but this time, they’re building something entirely their own.
