LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - This weekend the I-10 overpass at the Cameron Chloe exit will be closed.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the full closure of the I-10 overpass on La. 397 between the I-10 westbound entrance ramp and the I-10 eastbound exit ramp on Saturday and Sunday.

The closure is necessary for crews to perform roadway patching.

Detour information:

Motorists heading southbound on LA 397 will be detoured via La. 397 to I-10 WB, to U.S. 90 (Fruge Street) westbound, then to La. 397.

Motorists heading northbound on La. 397 will be detoured via La. 397 to La. 3020 westbound (Opelousas Street), to U.S. 171 northbound, to La. 3059 eastbound, then to La. 397.

The closure will also take place from Aug. 15-18, according to DOTD.
