THOMPSON TWP., SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police now confirm that two state troopers were shot responding to a call in northeastern Susquehanna County.
The investigation began around 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the area of State Route 171 near Thompson Township and Susquehanna.
Information on what prompted the shooting of two state troopers is limited at this time. Both troopers were taken to Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. State police are expected to provide updates on their conditions.
