SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. —

A crash shut down a stretch of Highway 26 in San Joaquin County on Thursday morning, according to Caltrans District 10.

The collision happened along Highway 26 near North Jack Tone Road around 6:30 a.m.

Due to the crash, both directions of the highway are closed between Jack Tone and Duncan roads, Caltrans reports.

The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately two hours, according to Caltrans.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

At this time, it's unclear how many vehicles were involved and if anyone was injured.
