UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- The judge currently presiding over the case of Kaitlyn Conley has reserved a decision on recusing herself after proceedings in Oneida County Court on Thursday.

Justice Bernadette Clark answered a motion by Oneida County District Attorney Todd Carville to recuse herself in Conley's murder trial on Friday, August 7. Clark had officially released Conley on February 4.

Carville claims that Justice Clark made biased comments on the trial at a party last December, while at the same time sealing Conley's record. Clark also denied a motion from the Oneida County Sheriff's Office to unseal the records in June, stating that the Sheriff's Office was acting on behalf of the District Attorney's Office.
