KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man has been arrested for his role in a robbery, assault and grand theft auto near the Plaza.

Thirty-year-old Jordan D. Rodgers is charged with seven felonies for an alleged incident on June 28, 2025, at West 46th Terrace and Mill Creek Parkway, just off the eastern end of the Country Club Plaza.

Two victims contacted the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, claiming two men -- one armed with a rifle -- approached them in the area and ordered them to get on the ground. While on the ground, court documents claim the suspect with the rifle told the first victim to empty his pockets and take his watch off.

When that victim refused to provide his phone password, the suspect punched him in the face.
