PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Peoria Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint of his gaming console he intended to sell Wednesday evening.

According to police, just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to South Griswold Street for an armed robbery report. When they arrived, police spoke with the victim, who explained he arranged a meet-up at West Proctor Street to sell his gaming console to a potential buyer.

However, that potential deal went sideways when two unknown men approached the seller. As the transaction was happening, one of the unknown men pulled a handgun out and stole the console. Both suspects then ran away.

No one was injured.
