Perrysburg schools voters will have big decisions to make at the polls Nov. 4. Not only will they decide a five-year, 7.8-mill levy request, they will pick from eight candidates for three board of education seats.
The candidates are incumbent Sue Larimer, and newcomers Joe Adams, Nikki Clark, Wayne Gniewkowski, Casey Haywood, Chris Heathcote, Denise Phillips, and Todd Underwood.
Each was asked why he or she decided to run, and for an opinion on the operations levy.
Ms. Larimer, 71, is seeking her fourth term on the board. She’s been part of a rocky couple of years on the school board, which saw three large levy requests fail, approved $7 million in cuts due to the last failure, and lost its superintendent of 18 years this week.
