Company hired to manage Fair Park left it in disrepair, Dallas leaders say

Fair Park is in disrepair and in much worse condition now than before the city handed over its management to the for-profit company, Oak View Group.

City leaders are trying to figure out who has rental contracts at Fair Park, as Oak View Group is refusing to share that information.

Going forward, the Dallas Parks Department will be in charge of Fair Park, with plans to hire outside companies for maintenance and venue rentals.
