ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - Wayne S. “Butch” Worden , a Pineville man, appeared in court on August 7 for a case tied to an arrest where he was booked on over 1,000 counts of sexual abuse of an animal and molestation of a juvenile under the age of 13.

The Pineville Police Department arrested Worden on May 30, 2024, at his home on Military Highway, for charges involving sexual abuse of an animal and a juvenile. According to police, further investigations revealed more evidence in the matter, leading to an additional:

1,087 counts of Sexual Abuse of an Animal

109 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles

43 counts of Molestation of a Juvenile
