NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A 32-year-old Ponchatoula man has been arrested and accused of uploading child sexual abuse material online, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say Aaron Jiles is facing 60 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation began last month when its Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information about explicit images and videos being uploaded to a social media platform. Investigators said they identified Jiles as the person posting the content and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Jiles was taken into custody this week. After examining his electronic devices, investigators booked him on the 60 charge
